QRio - QR Code Generator ("the App") helps you create custom QR codes on your device. This privacy policy explains what information the App processes and how your data is handled.
Information We Process
The App does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to our servers. All QR code content you enter (text, URLs, contact data, Wi‑Fi information, etc.) stays on your device and is only used to generate a QR code preview.
Permissions
- Photo Library / Storage: required to save generated QR code images to your gallery.
- Media Library (Logo Picker): used when you select a logo from your device to embed in the QR code. The selected image is never uploaded and is discarded when you remove it in the App.
You can revoke permissions in your device settings at any time. The App continues to work, though some features may be limited without the necessary access.
Third-Party Services
QRio does not integrate third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. All image generation runs locally using open-source libraries bundled with the App.
Data Retention
Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retain. QR code content and saved images reside solely on your device until you delete them.
Children's Privacy
The App is not targeted at children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data, no such information is knowingly stored or processed.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect product improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and publish the updated version in this location.
